Are you not from Chicago? Otherwise his comment would make perfect sense. He's not even talking about other teams in the MLB, just the Chicago teams. Cubs are on the North side in a wealthier area with plenty of bars, some of the most famous bars in Chicago are right there. The Sox are on the South side and in an area that you do not want to be anywhere near after dark and there's no game going on. So I take it you aren't from Chicago or missed that he was only comparing Sox/Cubs.

but thats a reason the cubs haven't won anything in 100 years. the owners were ok with horrible teams cause the cubs fans did not force their will on the owners. white sox fans demanded that kenny williams to step down and he did.
