|| Monochrome Challenge || - Lullaby [Spirit]

Been awhile since you've seen an actual vid from me huh? Yeah. This is an actual vid. Its not a preview, its not a stupid boring spoof. Its a full vid! (Kinda). Now, I don't know about you, but I LOVE how this turned out. There's not alot of effects, I was trying to keep with the somber mood of the song, and I was also, to be honest, half assing it - but I loooove how it turned out. :D

Xanxer challenged me to use the song, and it could only be monochrome. No color. I had to do at least 30 seconds for it to count. I truthfully didn't intend to use the full song... but I just kept going, and yeah. X3 I /did/ cut the first 35 seconds off, because it was just a very slow, repetitive instrumental bit. And I wanted to jump right into the lyrics. X3

It was really fun to do though, because I've never done a fully black and white vid before, and I even discovered that meshing certain effects creates lovely effects in and of themselves~ :D

Uh... there is and there isn't a story to it. XD I didn't plan one, but it just kinda ended up that Spirit's mom (Esperanza?) basically just wants Spirit to know that reguardless where he goes, or what he does, he'll always have a home, and that she'll wait for him as long as she needs to because she loves him.
Or. Something. I dunno. Make up your own story. X3

We always have sirens screaming past usually. And I swear they just did construction on the damn road last summer. There's no potholes. So I have no fricken idea what the hell they're doing. I think they just like spending our tax dollars on unnecessary construction because they're bored or something. X3

Lol. They're doing road construction RIGHT outside out apartments. The jackhammer is really loud and damn impossible to sleep through. So I'm up. I did manage about... 6 hours of sleep or so though. Not too bad. :3
