Her story: Brandi joined the fight against HIV after watching her uncle die from the disease and knows personally that individuals can be affected by HIV/AIDS without being infected. She now helps manage S.O.S. (Sistas Organizing to Survive), a grassroots mobilization of black women in the fight against HIV and AIDS, and wanted to share her personal story on the Living Quilt to educate others and encourage them to get tested.
