  • @baconcow I remember seeing Jack Harris in the early 70s playing with SOMA -- still consider him one of the greatest drummers I have ever seen ---we used to say "he plays from the wrist". Great memories of this band.

  • I miss Donnie's big old Leslie organ ---but wow what a trip seeing these guys

  • yes it was..our(halifax band) went everywhere on road trips

I am lookin for other postings of 45's that I had back in 1970,71 etc,i have just 1 45 rpm that I found from them locally here in hfx.

  • there was a band names SOMA that played around Montreal in the late 60s early 70s, could it be the same band? I've been looking for them for soo long!! Please anyone let me know.

  • Thank you so much for posting this video. I've been lookin for it for so long

  • I was drumming with The Axemen in the 60's when Jackie was just starting to learn his craft. Within a few months he was light years ahead. Knew Richie well when we played in opposing groups and at HWMHS, and had the honour of Frank doing a set with us in Lantz one night. Awesome video...thanx so much for sharing it with us.

  • @baconcow he sure does !
