http://www.solidar.ch : If Nespresso had a choice, no-one would watch this commercial with George Clooney. Ask George Clooney to commit to fairly traded coffee on http://www.solidar.ch | Script by Spinas Civil Voices | Film by Alexander Meier | VFX by champignons.tv

  • We are deeply touched by your support, your comments and questions. Many are about the difference between the labels "Fair Trade" and the "AAA+ Label" of Nespresso.

In long research we've been putting together a document about the coffee market and the different labels. here you can find the summary about the labels AAA+, 4C and Fair Trade:

Thanks again for sharing and supporting!

  • Look at the facts and read the studies instead of buying into the Fair Trade propaganda. Regarding coffee - the evidence shows that "fair trade producers provide lowergrade coffee for sale through the fair trade system." Secondly, Fair Trade does nothing to alleviate poverty. It might help a limited few, but statistics show no change overall. On the hand, FREE TRADE creates wealth for poorer nations.

  • Fairtrade isn't as great as the propaganda suggests. Do some reading about it. Fairtrade creates a monopoly in developing nations and it often harms small individual farmers who aren't or cannot be a part of the monopoly. Don't believe all the glitzy infomercials.

  • stop worshipping celebrity idols & get on with your fucking life.

  • great!

  • Very funny!! Do you know NexPod? Find more on nexpod.com!

  • @MrTruckosaurusRex haha, great comment. still i'd expect better from a company in the business though.

  • @KjeXXXer Yeah you're a bit right. But like vegetarians, if you have 10 or hundred of them they will convince other people to stop with their behaviour. This is exponential and more effective on long-term, I think. But guys don't stop supporting this because every small step counts!

  • @CrazzyCowcat I see that point, and yeah I got a little excited there. But I still maintain that people should still support this because it gets the attention of the companies, whereas one or ten or a hundred odd consumers changing their coffee habits does not.

  • @KjeXXXer Guy the difference between your examples and my example is that my solution solves the first one. Stopping AIDS doesn't stop child labour. Changing your lifestyle does stop the companies selling "unfair" trade stuff.
