@CinemaCapMan You're cringe worthy.....you're reading way too much into a commercial which was meant to be lighthearted and funny,,,,as far as American Idol, if you knew what really happened you'd tout her as a saint for even going on the crappy show. And also as far as her voice again....it's obvious you haven't been to one of her top selling concerts in years....she still sounds great and no auto tuning mics for her like most young performers today....

i don't like this commercial because i feel like it is a departure from everything that Acura stands for. Why play games with your luxury equity? Bette Midler does *not* scream luxury. Why not stick with commercials that convey what Calvin Johnson stands for in the makeover spot? Keep messing around and watch how you will ultimately exchange exclusivity for mass market budget luxury like lexus.
