Catastrophe Denied 1 Warren Meyer Skeptics' View of CATASTROPHIC Climate Change

I'm a fairly liberal person on most issues. I voted for Obama. In green terms I really do try to conserve energy and resources in every reasonable way possible. I recycle almost all of my trash. I am particularly passionate about rain forest and species preservation because once those are lost, they cannot be replaced. I USED to believe in CATASTROPHIC global warming. Now I just believe in incremental global warming, which is a HUGE difference. The reason I believed in CATASTROPHIC global warming is because I was told that the science backed it up and I figured that I could trust in climate scientists to publish unbiased conclusions. After all, science is the lifeblood of our modern lifestyle. However, after researching the ClimateGate scandal, I have been stunned and appalled by the lack of scientific integrity and the blatant, brazen political motivation of many of the most important climatologists of our day (you know, the ones who publish the reports to the UN, etc). After a lot of consideration of both sides of the issue, Ive decided that weve been duped. Scientists of integrity dont play games with their data to achieve desired results, which is apparently exactly what has been happening in the climate field. Anyone with even a rudimentary background in statistics will know that if you know how to play around with data and charts, you can project almost anything that you want the audience to see. However, it is not the purpose of science to promote an agenda, but to reveal the truth. REAL scientists let their data do the talking AND open up the sources of their data, computations, and conclusions to public scrutiny, which is NOT what has been happening in climate science. This is inexcusable and leads me to conclude that they have something to hide, otherwise there would be no need to protect top secret information like weather histories. If science is not FULLY reviewable then it is worthless. I truly cannot believe that these guys got away with this for so long. It is a deplorable lack of media scrutiny. Deliberate scientific fraud is one of the worst of crimes because it can cause damages that are many orders of magnitude larger than a normal crime. Scientific integrity matters a lot. Our whole modern world is built on the foundation of science. We cannot allow this foundation to be the least bit shaky. It should always be rigorously reviewed.

I found this video in my search for truth and found it to be very helpful as a presentation of a CATASTROPHIC climate change skeptic viewpoint. It was produced by a man named Warren Meyer, of whom I have absolutely no affiliation with. He heads a site called http://climate-skeptic.com which is very informative. I decided to post this video on YouTube because it was not available here yet. Meyer provides a very rational and thought provoking discussion on the claims of SOME climatologists and points out several holes in their arguments; a perfectly reasonable scientific endeavor. It is a 90 minute video called Catastrophe Denied and Ive divided it into 11 clips. My personal favorite is the beginning of clip 10, but you should check the whole video out. All I ask is an open mind (were trying to be scientific arent we well arent we?) They have repeatedly denied Freedom of Information Act requests for the sources of their data and methods. Could this be because they dont want the scrutiny? I used to think not, but now I think so. Ive also included several links below that I found very helpful in my search. All I ask for is free and fair debate of ALL the facts, which HAS NOT happened whatsoever so far in the climate field.
