Thanks for doing this video. It was a big help for me when I did my first Colonscopy a year ago. I watched as I was preparing. Now a year later I am having my 2nd one. I had a cancerous polyp but it was removed and I'm fine.

I had a colonoscopy about 3 months ago. I had some blood in my stool. Luckly verything is great and I dont have to go back for 19 years as I am 31 years old. The day before my procedure I took the laxitive pink pill and the go lightly stuff. I had it done in the hospital and it was my first one. I got put under and it was fine.

Did you have to have someone in the waiting room during the colonoscopy? I have been denied treatment twice because I can not get a responsible adult to wait in the hospital. I do have a driver who will pick me up, but that is not good enough. I am retired Army and the VA as well as Tricare have both denied me.

Thanks for sharing. I'm in the UK, I'm having a second one soon. We have sachets of powder to drink, i'd rather have your senakot. They give sedation here. I'm also having a camera down my throat (gastroscopy) next Tuesday. Thankfully sedation for that too.
