The Immigration Minister Otieno Kajwang' announced that no child would be enrolled in standard one or sits for the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education or Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education examinations without a birth certificate.
Many parents did not take that announcement lightly. some were forced to travel long distances to try and seek help at Sheria House.
@krth Wow! I was only joking but i'm glad I brought out the real you. I now assume 1. You have 0 problem if Mlima pple r labelled thieves indiscriminately & 2. U still hold that 60's view when Nai had a monopoly on radio, Tv , electricity, roads, jobs and piped water ? Newsflash - There are tons of 'villagers' that have comforts beyond which most Nbians only dream of. And that is before factoring in the cleaner air, less thuggery, 0 congestion and 0 Kibaki motorcades. Hv a gr8 Day in Nairobi.

They should go to the schools and issue them to the std 8 students...the way ID cards used to be issued to form 4 students them days...they make the process cumbersome and yet it's not if they worked in a proper manner!!!!!

we want devolution, this madness that one important document has to be acquired in one place is mad. Regional offices are needed to ease pressure on Sheria house.
