I actually liked Turbo Outrun better than the original Outrun... more fun.

@JasonLee215 I found it nearly impossible to play well, meaning without bumping into traffic or going off the road at every turn. Mabey overclocking would have helped; I just never came to grips with the framerate. Saying it has half the playability isn't really saying much. T.O. is a great coin-op but nothing more. I do appreciate your well thought out responses though: )

@JasonLee215 They should have ported it to the Saturn like they did with Outrun, Galaxy Force 2, Space Harrier, Afterburner, and so on... T.O. Genny never even made it to the States. All of the copies I have seen for sale (including mine) are foreign. I don't think I'm being unfair, not when Outrunners plays so well in split screen. Ok, I'm off my soapbox now.

@Monacomaverick : I know I played it on my old Commodore Amiga 500+ back in 1989, but never saw it on any other platform.

@JasonLee215 You are far more forgiving than I am. I own the Genesis version, and the only reason I keep it is for the great artwork on the packaging. The frame skip (hence the turbo) makes the game nearly unplayable, at least in my eyes. I would much rather play Outrunners or 2019 instead of Turbo. I wouldn't mind having this arcade machine though! XD
