  • Compassion is the readying of thought; though in morality is brings on despair to justify itself! From the wills' point of view it can be the justification of anything!

  • The golden rule is the basis for compassion, and in my opinion morality, but all things should be in measured quantities - having your compassion exploited is not a good thing.
