Yea I remember that being the most stacatto line from Cavies I 've seen from 93 till now. Not just the tenors (playing lief's technique ) but the snares were playing too " through " the head for kevlar.
I remember this being one of the dirtiest cavie lines in a long time...lots of timing problems and slamming of attacks and releases. probably a lot of rookies, however, I always thought the book written was extremely creative and clever, although at times it seems so stacatto for the lyrical music chosen (e.g., Copland).
