Me too I had the same problem. Got it more than 12 years ago. I did not recovered fully. It's noticeable when I smile. I need to save money to go to Malaysia.

If they are Bell Palsy and come withing 7 days of problem then we can cure by 14 days, if 14 days after then they come it may take about 30 days of intensive treatment, if any longer it will depends on each individual case, but all do improve when they come for intensive treatment, only those more than 18 months is difficult to get improvement for that u are right.

i've had bells palsy for ...16 years now, had it when i was 10. It recovered slightly, but not fully, and you can tell when i smile, or when i blink, cause i have a twitch. I'm still hoping that there is a cure out there even though i've had it for this long. In a way, you kind of get used to it, but it would be nice to be able to smile again, without it looking crooked. Hope everyone gets better. x

Would it be possible to have my doctor contact you? I live in Portland OR USA
I came down with severe BP to the right side of my face in June 2006. I wasted time and money going from one doctor to the next. After 2 months, I was told that I would not recover.
It was then that I found a chinese acupuncturist and ever since, I have regained 75-80% of my face. In the last year recovery is minimal but still happening.
I want to smile again. Please help :)
