@bryster415 actually it is both but sine wave is short for sinusoidal wave which also covers cosine and sine in general... ALSO the wave that it put out was both sine and cosine... go look

wait i just realized, you dont have an amp powering your mids and highs so that high frequency test is doing nothing, you need a low frequency to play so you can actually test if that amp is clipping.

@mrgeo20 well this was mainly a proof of concept on my part... i still have to play around with the graph to see if i can make it show just the instantaneous period and the range of the sound wave
