Competitive Cyclist's review of the Ridley Dean. Aero, stiff, and most importantly: Light. The Ridley Dean is all of these things in one package. Its use of airfoil-shaped tubes and patented R-Flow technology are sure to help you slide through the wind and hit the line first.

  • That's kindof impressive.

It's too bad that the rider to showcase it was Cadel Evans. What a douche.

  • best bike ever.. just a bit expensive

  • why dont they have a cover like thing that comes with the bike that goes over the rear deraillieur for more aerodynamics

  • @gobacktorussia agree totally, cables are too exposed

  • they make the frame so aerodynamic, but the gears look like they would cause the most drag, and the deraillieur, if going to all this trouble with the frame im sure something could be done with those parts

  • @SuperMikyBoy

everything on competitive cyclist is expensive!

  • ur bike is not better than my bike for 100 euro

  • just one strand of the brake cable on this bike is probably worth more than my entire bike!

  • I like this bike, but the TREK TT bike is way better! Chris leito should try this one too!

  • Everything Competitive Cyclist reviews is somehow incredibly awesome.

    Coincidence? I think not.

  • @Technopunkster Oh really? A 5.5% increase in aerodynamics (in comparison to similar models) won't be a notable difference? Earlier this week, I had a chance to ride one of these. It had a Campy 11spd with electronic shifting. I must say that this is much faster than any other TT bike out there. The same goes for the Noah in comparison Madone 6.9. There is a significant difference when riding in the flats and downhill (2-3 mph average increase).

  • Cadel Evans seems to be the worst thing about this bike, IMAO.
