  • Since selling this starion and loving the Nissan engine, I bought a 350z which was a very nice car and now ive got the very last R34 GTR which i think its an awesome package. Stay tuned I should have some videos of my GTR coming up soon.

  • mate i used the starion crossmember, starion engine mounts and the nissan brackets that bolt to the SR bolted up. the engine sat too high though and the gearbox wouldnt fit in the tunnel so i used steel plates that bolted to the starion engine mounts and welded it to the nissan brackets which allowed me to lower the engine enough for the gearbox to fit in the tunnel nicely. it also allowed me to move engine back or forward to my liking. gearstick come up through the hole in the tunnel as normal

  • wasnt this for sale a while back for 20k

  • Yip car has since been sold

  • how hard was it to swap this into the starion? i have an shp starion i plan to ether swap a 4g65 wideblock with dual cam head or and sr20det

  • nice to see someone put a good power plant in one of these... this blows away the gay ford 302s ive seen.. nice work man

  • @starquest92 89 was the last year for conquests, and even those were 88 overstock with a reprinted manual. I had one, it was awesome.

  • @inlinesk8r no one gives a shit about your opinion or that you feel bad for a starion.

  • This is now owned by myself.

Car has been tuned recently to give a little less power, but better response throughout the rev range. It's a lot more driveable and less recalcitrant now.

On Nissan engines vs Mitsubishi engines - Nissan parts are WAY cheaper, and a lot easier to find where I am. Lots more places here are familiar with them too.

I have other Starions with the OEM 4G63's in them. They're always going to sound better, especially the SOHC engines, but SR20's are just all round easier

  • @inlinesk8r They cant help it nissan is better

  • blah blah your car sucks blah blah nissan motors blow blah blah i cant believe you stupid cunt. JUST KIDDING. Love the swap, nice car, fuck the haters.
