I am UKrainian and Russell was Belarussian...but those divisions and made up lines on a map matter little when a hero falls...when a brave young man gives his full measure protecting the city he loved so much. Vichnaya Pamjat Rostyslav....heroes never die...they live forever in our hearts and in the actions of the brave men and women of the NYPD! Slava Herojam!!!

This is so sad....another promising young and brave life lost to the selfishness and disgusting nature of unnecessary gun violence. We need politicians AND police to work hand in hand to get scum off the streets for good. RIP Timoshenko
