2009-10 provided a showcase of just what Wacey Hamilton is capable of. He tallied 24 goals and 47 assists for 71 points in 67 games this past season, while finishing a team best plus-28 while adding a scrappy 100 penalty minutes.
Wacey was named the Medicine Hat Tigers 2007-08 Rookie of the Year, and Tigers team captain to start the 2009-10 WHL Season. Wacey also played for Team WHL at the 2009 Super Series versus Russia.
Hamilton was chosen as the the Tigers Most Valuable Player for 2009-10 and named the Tigers co-MVP of the 2010 WHL Playoffs.
I know he patterns his game off of Mike Richards, but I sure see a lot more Mike Fisher in his game. Not a 'big' guy by NHL standards, but freaky strong and lots of heart. He's gonna be a fan favourite for sure! So excited!
