The 2nd video in a series about making Iroquois style lacrosse sticks. This first stick was a test/prototype. I was testing the steam "box" and the steam bending of the hickory wood and then testing out the bending jig for making a stick. I made some mistakes along the way and learned from them. For one, I made the thickness of the wood at the head of the stick too thin. I also had some problems with my initial bending jigs. I also failed to get a deep enough setback on the bend in the shaft of the stick, so this protoype is a bit unbalanced.

On the next attempt, I will correct these problems and hopefully move closer in the direction of perfection! Thanks for watching.

Tom
