"Tarheel Hal" and "Hun Hunter XVIII" (or what ever number it is!) are two of just a few P-47s flying today that still have a working turbosupercharger.
Aren't they the most beautiful things you ever saw?! I have flown a variety of RC warbirds and I must say that the P-47 is the most stable, easy to fly and forgiving plane I have flown.Even when an engine stops it allows for a smooth belly landing.Hats off to these guys who keep them airworthy and I can't wait to see Dottie Mae fly once restored...a true original with much of the original parts still on her.Keep 'em flyin'!!!
