A group of bellbirds singing deep in the forest surrounding Lake Sumner, South Island, New Zealand. The bird that you see on the ground is a New Zealand robin.

  • this isnt bellbirds,,...

  • @carlosamaya The bird you see in the video is a black robin not a bellbird but the birds singing in the background are bellbirds. Zoom on my camera was not good enough to catch one of them close enough

  • @bubljen the bird shown is a New Zealand Robin, not a Black Robin. Blacks are extremely rare and you wont find one anywhere near sumner.

  • @delete461 True. Thanks for pointing that out. :)

  • I liked that cool little grey fantail bird at the beginning.

  • Yeah he's cute. Because of that bird I made the movie at first but belbirds started to sing at the same time so I extended the whole thing just for the sake of their beautiful voices. :)
