no it won't. weight of the wheel doesn't matter because it's balanced on all sides.

Believe it not viewers Physicist, Scientist, Artist, Engineer 'Leonardo Da Vinci' have invented the first free energy device which is just a home generator consumes no energy. Soon or later vehicles today will instead run on free energy rather than petrol, gas or oil responsible for the air pollution in this world.

Hey!, leonardo!!!... here's a good proposition. Actually build this thing and get it to work right producing "free energy", then bring it to me, i'll pay you a million bucks, cash!!, and then i'll go inmediatly to general electric and sell it to those guys for about... let me think.... 1000 times more.

LAME!

you are right, except 'free energy' means solar, not magic pyramid power or perpetual motion machines.

Or wind/wave/whatever generates energy from an inexhaustible, non-polluting source.

If you would do this in space, then you would not only have the same problem as on earth (equelibrium on both sides), but also the fact that the lack of gravity would ruin the machines basic principle.

defectnine, Da Vinci knew this would not work, he only drew plans for it, i thought it was a pretty cool machine so i animated it.
Check out my other video on him - Leonardo da Vinci: Science, engineering & inventions, i think you'll realise that he was no fool.
