The slow part of this number features the same melody taht appears in the piece Ängskär, written by Timo for Maria Kalaniemi & Aldargaz and appearing on their latest album AHMA. The rest comes from a composition Timo submitted to a free-bass accordion competition in 1997. It has a Swedish influence, inspired by fiddler Maria Hultgren

  • I've played this video many times over the past weeks. My being of Swede-Finn heritage, the music is a Highest Order prayer, communication there are no words to express. Thank you so much for posting this. It brings so many things out in me I had forgotten..
