  • So far...since I started making videos (2006)...I have been RATHER...stand-off-ish...I allow myself to go only so far..then, I STOP...CLAM-UP...I have ALWAYS been that way...A million times I have thought about making a video about a certain topic...then, I just..halt the process...You're brave...You're real.....THANK YOU...

  • surprised to hear you say that. Come on, let go

    nothing to lose

  • I jumped right into vlogging with a high level of disclosure, then sometimes regretted it, but never enough to change what I do or delete anything major. But, still, it's so true that different people who think they "know me" (online or offline - it's all IRL) have only studied one aspect or one character of the whole, messed up lot.

  • just from my little experience of you, I know that you are multi-layered, intriguing

  • My husband of 37 years and I still manage to surprise each other. He doesn't know me half as well as he thinks he does.

BTW, if you do a 360 you end up going the original direction. I think you meant 180. I couldn't resist pointing that out, and I hate that about myself LOL

  • Oh, you're right!!

    duh

    thanks. Maybe I meant 385 . . .lol

  • to safekeep one's identity as if it is unchanging

(and perhaps at one point it was the case)...

And it is quite lovely how you have shared, and share, the many selves ebbing then flowing

  • You're right.

Personally, i seem to show a different side of my character here on YouTube than i tend to show elsewhere, especially at work.

The online me is increasing becoming the real me though :)

  • You are so right. No one could ever know the true and complete me other than, well, me. But, I do want people in my life who wish to at least try to know me...*smile*

  • sparkling sophistication, and multifaceted what you do reveal lights up the lives of those who try to know you.

  • I'm so very glad you changed your mind Margaret. I don't know you but I am very drawn to you. Thank you for your beautiful music, your wisdom, and sense of humor!

  • This one brought me in for a look. :-)
