Crackerjack Fireworks Meet in Pennsylvania January 30, 2010 The Crackerjacks based in Virginia is having a fireworks shoot in Pennsylvania. I received an invitation to attend. I will be working with an officer of this organization to video a piece and show you more reasons to get involved into the world of the fireworks enthusiast.

Check out their web site for more information http://www.crackerjacks.org/

  • You might want to edit this video and black out or blur out the Data Matrix Barcode that is shown at 4:16 . There is a lot of free software out there that can read these things just by taking a picture of it.... And you are giving what ever info is in it out for free here on your video. It probably confirms your personal info and the pay pal payment... Just an FYI. Nice vids! Keep them up :)

  • That is interesting; I never realized someone could decode that information from a video. This video will be taken down shortly after January 30, 2010.

  • displayfireworks1 where do you live and in what country is this meatings :O?

  • do you need to be professional or with a license to attend?

  • Thats awesome....I didnt know there were Fireworks Clubs....How can I join?

  • @XTRUTHDRUMSX

How do you like the WPA? I am planning on joining for my 18th birthday this october in the hopes of going to the 2011 WWB. Is it the kind of enviroment where an unexperienced but passionate young pyrotechnician in the making can learn about creating or the use of fireworks? There is only so much one can do in California. I also am hoping to learn about the state's laws pertaining to Class B and the manufactering of fireworks. I wish state and local were as easy as federal.

  • wtf! why didnt anybody tell me! i live in pennsylvania! u have gotta be kidding me! and i missed it!`so thats where all of my friends didnt answer their phones and texted me ''be back 2 hrs gotta go to firework display''

    i was so jealuse! :(

  • great info Dave. their membership cost an arm and a leg. Im a member of the WPA western pyrotechnics association and new membership is 110bucks and 80 bucks to renew.

Im going to the winter blast event next week, and maybe i should cover the whole event and post some videos and info about the club like you did for crackerjacks

  • Hi Dave,

Dont worry, that barcode in itself contains no useful information other than an index number on a database, (the number written below) unless you have access to that database, the barcode is meaningless.

I have enjoyed watching all of your videos, some several times, and have learned so much about fireworks, Thankyou for all of the hard and time work that you have put in. Mike.W
