Zipster I don't think that's being superficial and I agree, he was ignorant to act that way. He was bleeding on you--can't even imagine the diseases that can be spread that way, altho I know in the 70s it wasn't as much a concern...

What a great story, we all know about the glass and bleeding, but expect that it had to do with a total loss of self respect and nihilistic self abuse. To know that Iggy was still able to speak after that- I just assumed that he was totally high- that puts a whole new perspective on that so ill-famed event. If you weren't there, you don't know what Rock and Roll was at that time, especially in New York- it was vicious, it was violent.
