IN THIS VIDEO, watch as Jerry Conley manages to successfully land his L-29 during an in-flight emergency, which stemmed as a result of his canopy flying off of the plane while taking off. According to a conversation I had with Jerry later that night, the canopy was not damaged and he did not see a single scratch on it. It was repaired, placed back on the plane, and Jerry flew media flights on Saturday and Sunday. He did request the crash trucks to roll out, but they were not needed. I do want to thank Jerry for his VERY PROFESSIONAL handling of the situation at hand and for getting down the ground safely. Had things not gone as they had, I would not have posted the video.

I apologize for the poor video quality, as I was trying my best to get the best video under VERY WINDY conditions, which persisted through Saturday night.
