Billy Talent - Surrender (Drums Cover)

This is me playing along "Surrender" by Billy Talent on Drums.
The way I play this Song is found by ear, so it's not everything correct. But I always try to play the main-rhythm of the parts as correctly as possible and mostly I improvise the fill-ins ;-)

I start playing drums in the age of seven and got five years teaching. Than I quit it, because it wasn't that funny.
Before two months I got a new Drumset and beginning to play it again.
I want to mention, that I play difficult and easy songs,
the main thing is that the Song is good! And this one is it.
If someone of you say, this Song is pretty easy, I don't care...

Here a short Description of how I made this Video:
I miced each individual Drum and the Cymbals with two Overheads.
Than each Mic in my Interface and via Firewire in the PC.
I optimized the Sound with Cubase LE (EQ, Loudness, Pan) and export is as a Audio Mixdown.
Than I synchronized the Audio and Video file with Magix Video Deluxe and ewport it as a Video!

ich glaube du spielst das Lied falsch. Oder improvisierst du mit Absicht? Du weichst nämlich schon extrem von Grundbeat usw ab. Aber trotzdem gut!

BTW: Deine Floortom hört man kaum!

Ganz nett gespielt, nur mit der Dauer solltest du versuchen ein bisschen mehr Dynamik reinzubekommen, dann klingt das in kombination mit dem lied runder und fügt sich mehr in die riffs ein ;)

ist sehr schön wie du spielst, aba wenn ich dir einen Tipp geben darf, ab 2:01 - 2.12 beide Crash zu spielen, eins für die dauer und das Zweite immer bei "I think".

so gibt das alles einen besseren Klang.

Aba wirklich Top kann man eig. sonst nix gegen sagen.
