I'm also on the fence abt henna ... it is supposed to thicken the hair & add body. My hair is already mega-thick & crazy-coarse to the point where I have to tell it to sit down! =D LOL! Did it thicken ur hair?

Thank you. Yes it did thicken my hair, The first day it felt mega thick and now its toned down but it still looks fuller and has more body, so yeah.

I chose the LUSH hennas bcuz it is mixed into shea and cocoa butters so you get all the henna goodness w/o the drying. Also DON'T try to color ur hair, the henna will react w/ it and make a random color (I asked a stylist).

i work for henna page and let me just tell you that rainbow henna sucks! go on henna page and order some REAL henna you will like it 10x better I PROMISE it also rinses out better we have a special bundle of henna for african american hair and it is wonderful

You must use real Body Art Quality Henna for the best results....

i wasn't too happy with henna either when i used it. i used the red rainbow henna, and the color wasn't what i expected. and becasue i have locs, the rinse out was like torture!!! i literally had to rinse in the sink for almost 40 minutes! i almost started to have a panic attack 'cause i thought i wasn't going to be able to get it out! but afterwards my hair was softer and shinier. and i tried it again, this time with lemon juice instead of water, but i think i'm pretty much done with henna.

Thanks, yeah monicajoi told me it may turn a crazy color so I put the dye on the shelf and suprisingly as time has gone on it doesnt look as bad as it did the first day. So Im not as mortified as I was at first. Im excited to use Henna again, I think I watched your video about Henna ages ago and it started me on my Henna research quest. Ill keep posting as I do more treatments. Thanks for stopping by.

You got me wanting to try some henna in my hair. I don't want to change my color so I am gonna try the colorless one but yes the benefits of henna on natural hair is amazing so I have heard. You got me wanting to run to the store and get some right now!
