A group of people who mutually spam each others videos to insure a larger shared audience, is a perfect example of something which is completely trivial, yet completely unethical, because it's always at the expense of the next person down the line, who might share the same frustrations which would incline someone to spam in the first place.

I think it's wrong for anybody to be tactfully acquiescent to another person, when it means setting aside, even trivial, ethical considerations.
