Loved this song from the first time I heard it. Used to play the B+B version over and over for hours. Always loved Time Waits for No One {similar theme}, Coming Down Again. This song is about Jagger, biggest rock star in the world, lover of countless beautiful woman saying, "life goes on. Life goes through you. It doesn't stop." He loved this woman briefly. They shared some time together but like a gorgeous day it becomes night and it passes. It all passes eventually my friends even for Mick J.

the stones have sooooo many great songs that most people have never heard and you wont hear them at their concerts where they play the same nostalgia crap ... too bad they didnt trust their fans
