Book TV: Hendrik Hertzberg, "Obamanos: The Birth of a New Political Era"

During this event, Hendrik Hertzberg discusses the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and President Reagan, and his proposals for political reforms in the United States. Obamanos presents an account of Campaign 2008 from a reporter for The New Yorker. Former Presidential speechwriter Hertzberg (Carter administration) found the title of the book on a poster outside of Sante Fe, and argues that it embodies the changing demographics, attitudes and concerns of the electorate that put Barack Obama in the White House.
