More and more people from the former Socialist countries in Europe are growing disappointed by capitalism and regret the pre-1990 era.

One thing is certain, any system that can eliminate unemployment and guarantee housing, has eliminated the source of 90% of all human stress and worry. These two needs are human rights and should never be left to the whim of a chaotic predatory and exploitative system. No one human being should have in his or her hands, the power to fire or hire another human being based on personal likes or dislikes or the sympathy or antipathy of individual personality, looks, age or gender.

GREETINGS FROM GREECE..I hope all this nations have learned that capitalism is just a system based on explotation and lying..it cultivates false hopes...Not only the people from ex-socialist countries are nostalgic but people from countries like GREECE START SLOWLY CHANGING THEIR MIND EVEN AFTER ALL THE PROPAGANDA AND THE BRAINWASH THAT THE SYSTEM HAS DONE

During Socialism (not communism) in Yugoslavia you worked and you got paid with this money you could afford a lot of things.

NOW in former Yugoslavian countries you work for food. WHILE 200-300 families are millionaires.

The problems with these countries was they didn't have a free press.

@xxxdieselyyy2 Yes, People largely wanted a more Communist/Socialist system. As in Yugoslavia, where government reforms were distasted.

@AirportSheriff ------------, or to live under the tyranny of the 'communist' beurocrats.----------->I fail 2 see how different a present government official is less oppressive compared 2 a bureaucrat. At least in my country, it's same-same. And I've seen USSR and I've seen Russia- MANY times, and I don't find modern bureaucrats any less benign for that matter.

From this video, it didn't look like "democracy" was the attraction but more SOCIAL SECURITY and STABILITY.
