I take a trip with my Jr. High 1st grade class to a vocational museum in Kizugawa city, where they can explore career options and find out what interests them. The facilities are immensely huge, with an amazing amount of technology and expertise. It was fun just walking around watching the students, and THEY got to play with all kinds of different jobs! Great place!!

  • Fantastic blend, Caleb. Are you still using MS Movie maker? How about your video camera? If so how do you do the fast motion.

Wonderful fun documentary of their trip.

  • Thanks! Yeah, still just MS Movie Maker. There's a fast motion effect. And this was still using my Minolta, but I just got the cutest little camcorder/snapshot camera in Osaka, which I used on my trip to the southern islands great fun!

  • those careers might have been offered in the dark shed out back labeled "Plan B." :-D

  • Thoroughly enjoyed this video, great stuff. I love how you played out the reaction to the "pale giant" LOL

  • thanks so much! I get the "agg giant" look a lot, but this is the best verbal reaction so far, and I was so glad to get it on tape! I just with I'd had the camera on her, her head whipped around so fast she could have gotten whip-lash! :-D

  • some excellent footage :)

The closest thing I had to this was in Primary school, when we went to different high schools to see what the subjects were like and whatnot.

Haha at 5min12sec, are those guys in the back asleep or what :) lol. Pay attention guys! :/ hehe

  • haha, that happens a lot; they're pretty free to driff off with their heads on the desk whenever they want. I don't think they actually fall asleep, and they usually come out of it in a minute or two. Thanks for the comment! So hey, are you in Japan now? Where are/were you?

  • Where's the "Hello Work Unemployment Office Zone"? Or the Kabakura room, where you can learn to extract huge amounts of money from drunk people? I'm disappointed ...
