Tires definetly are the disadvantage for the ford!! Those tires aren't putting nearly enough rubber on the ground. With the same amount of rubber being put on the ground, the ford with substantially more torque should win regardless of the gearing on the H1

Yeah, what-the-fuck-ever! A well-driven Super Duty with all things being equal (rope angle, tires, and even weight) will take that POS any day! My F-350 Outlaw will eat that Hummer for breakfast!

I noticed the tire disadvantage for the Ford right away. Good point with the strap angle also, The Ford also has the new smaller, crapper diesel (mines the 7.3L).

Look at the angle of the strap between the trucks...as power os applied, it lifts the rear of the Ford and pulls down on the rear of the Hummer. Decreasing the Fords traction and increasing the Hummers. Level out the strap and re-run the pull. Also, the Hummer's tires are taller and wider, giving it a larger "Footprint" on the pavement for more traction, the mud tires are a softer compound than the Fords, again, giving it more traction. All things being equal, the Ford would "OWN" the Hummer!

You can believe whatever you want to believe. You have to realize this is a civilian Hummer and not a military model. essentially the same vehicle but still different. The tires the military uses are multi-offroad use tires, not just for sand. There is a reason people sipe mud tires, and thats because they suck horribly on road. I know for a fact, I have a Jeep with 31 M/T tires and locking them up is extremely easy to do.
