still prefer jQuery if you ask me, dart seems to be too hassle and time consuming to develop web apps, even if dart is powerful, eventually the JS that it will create will not likely be optimized as much as you would do with libs such as jQuery.

full shit

Port 1773! LOL

Loved it but dude use some interface, not everybody knows shellscript or whatever.

@sethladd Dart is a Google project and is controlled by Google no matter how open you say it is. If Google want to help web development they should take advanced ECMA standards with strong typeing and classes and put them in Chrome. Then they could make a server side version like nodejs.
Why are we forced to use broken html5 stuff to push things further while the javascript is still what it was 20 years ago? Another language? Seriously?
-
Let this language die, it's just made to kiss the java developers ass while winking at web developer. Google should push the evolution of ecma standard in browsers, not build his own language, like we didn't get enough of them.

@sumairzafar totally agree with you, Show us a simple web app that can be used in the normal web such as a simple file upload system or so

+1 for the Tau constant!

What's the point of that!? Add more complexity to our projects only to have an insignificant increase in speed?? I didn't worth the extra effort.

What about GWT do not just dump it its really great
Dart seems pretty cool
I will try it
Also please post a video about how we can use this in our normal web development processes

@neopsi Dart is open source, which VBScript never way. Dart's objective is to take a fresh look at building a language and libraries for modern web app developers, and provide a productive and compelling application development environment. It compiles to human readable JavaScript, much like CoffeeScript. Our ultimate goal is to help developers build more complex, feature-rich apps for the web.
