this video is an excerpt from a 1988 interview with frank morrow and john cone
at 2:45 ron paul said, "I anticipate, and many Austrian free market economists anticipate, that the recession that's coming will not be a recession at all but it will a depression and it will probably be bigger than the one we had in the 1930s"
here are the facts about the federal reserve for all the 14 year olds that have been duped by internet propaganda:
The Federal Reserve System is not "owned" by anyone and is not a private, profit-making institution. Instead, it is an independent entity within the government, having both public purposes and private aspects.

APPENDICES
I. THE ECONOMICS OF THE "CONSTITUTIONAL" ISSUE
Constitutional Powers and Limitations
The tenth amendment of the Constitution, however, reserves powers not given the federal government for the states or the people. Consequently, it is occasionally argued by some observers that since the power to issue bills of credit is not specifically authorized, it is prohibited. However, the final clause of Article 1, section 8 gives Congress the power to make laws "necessary and proper for carrying into execution" those powers given explicitly. Based on this clause, the courts in particular have maintained that the Congress does indeed have the power to authorize the issuance of such bills.

A dishonest politician? what is this? No such thing, clearly

@CyborgNation
"actually changed his mind" yup, because DNA evidence is more accurate then no evidence 20 years ago. So ron paul decided to flip flop
thats just one example. You must not know how to view peoples channel. which holds 2 more of his flip flops.
Don't really care about romney,obama,Nute, or santorum, since I'm not pushing them. You don't have to hate someone that flip flops. A person who flip flops is someone that changes their views for votes. Like ron paul did

@taledarkside
Take a look at Romney/Santorum. They are BOTH big government and are in the republican race. They should be democrats with how much government they want to expand.
If someone who holds democratic views runs for republican he's probably going to fail. Republicans are suppose to be conservative, and be more like Ron Paul. So IMO he's in the correct party at the moment. Jumping parties still means nothing if all your core beliefs are held. It's still cherry picking.
CyborgNation 12 hours ago
@taledarkside LOL, he gave a solid reason for his flip flop. He admitted he was ignorant of the unfairness delivered in the death penalty. Thus stating he no longer believes in it because of too many mistakes.
Where as EVERYONE ELSE that's flip flopping is doing it to appease your ears. He's doing it because he Actually changed his mind.
Learn the difference of why people dislike people like Romney flip flopping.
your example is poor, and by no means a fair analogy.
CyborgNation 12 hours ago
@CyborgNation
its on my channel, and you can see him flipflopping on death penalty and other issues on youtube.
It does discredit him. And what he stands for ? LOL, changing his party means he doesn't believe what he stands for. Maybe i should become Jewish so i can be rich. Hey i can be like ron paul too.
taledarkside 13 hours ago
@taledarkside PLEASE PLEASE show evidence of flip flopping. don't just say he did it w/o backing up your statement. Please link me your proof. Jumping parties isn't flip flopping your beliefs. HIS CORE beliefs have been held since practically forever. way to cherry pick the smallest thing you could find that has absolutely 100% no meaning or discredit for what he stands for.

And how does this show that Ron Paul is dishonest? Just because the early 90s recession was smaller than he anticipated, doesn't make him a liar. First of all this is before China came into the picture and secondly no one was to know how Greenspan would fuel a double boom on a scale beyond anything that had gone before (and got away with it during his tenure). And what did we do to get out of that? Well we printed more money.
All this says is that Dr Paul didn't think we were just so stupid

@Coldmouth2121
1)Ron Paul is a libertarian, who threw out his beliefs to run as a republican. LOL what a piece of shit. And he isn't an independent.You should learn English.
2)Thanks for giving the definition of flip flopping. Ron Paul flip flopped a lot. You dumb ron paul cultists claim he had the same views when he flipflopped them to try and win elections. Just like him flip flopping his party.
3) can you prove I watch Fox new? you can't because you make up lies like the other sheep
taledarkside 17 hours ago
@taledarkside 3) I would much rather have nails driven through my toenails than to watch Fox News' bullshit propaganda. Again, get your head out of your ass and stop watching Bill O'Reilly lol.
Coldmouth2121 1 day ago
@taledarkside Lol, you are so dumb it's not even funny at this point. 1) I didn't say he was in the Independent party. I said he was an Independent but is running as a Republican because it's too hard to get their names on any ballots or get on debates. 2) As I said earlier, and I'll elaborate further. There's a difference between "flip-flopping" and changing your mind. Flip-flopping means that you keep switching which side your on continuously. Changing your mind happens only once
