Todd makes an amazing save during his first round of freestyle. Just at the end of his routine he sets up for a snap low and fast and losses the left wing. He circles around in knife edge and brings it in for a perfect landing. Enjoy!

Desert Aircraft Tucson Aerobatic Shootout 2009 round one freestyle competition held at the Tucson International Modelplex Park,
October 7 - 11, 2009 in Tucson, AZ.

  • im happy to see that this is the only video on youtube that doesent have a single dislike

  • I think I'm going to loop that video on my desktop, to remind myself what you can do with preparation and skill.

  • the song's called Raindrops and its by Stunt its the name for tje firts song

  • very nice

  • Anyone know the name of the first song? I do this all the time on the Flight sim, just in case. Its always good to practice failure landings!

  • awwwwwsome

  • This is soooooooo insane and great flying. I love this vid

  • @theantiredneck youre not silly but you can be assured it wasnt planned,,theese planes are suseptable to fatigue and are made by humans ,,so theres allways that factor to consider,,even if flown in a mild manner they are still subject to failure.

  • Who needs viral videos from Killathrill?

  • You know call me silly but they announcer sure was ready to kill the music the very moment the wing broke and he was very ready and calm with a response, sure it very well could have been fatigue its for sure a well used and stressed plain but it looked somewhat timed they could have had a very small charge on the main spar and a guy on a button and this could have been part of the show, :))

Just a thought though! go back and listen to how the music and announcer seemed very ready for it! winks!
