Maybe he is scared that you don't actually feel the same way...Don't flirt back with him and kinda ignore him that way he will miss you and understand how much he actually does like trust me this works:-)

seems like its my story..i am also in love with my best friend... i've told him all about this but seems like he really doesn't feel the same way.. what hurts me more is that, he makes me feel like an extra-special someone to him because, he shows me a lot of care all the time.. we even say "iloveyou" to each other making me fall in love with him deeper...
