Solo: Yogg-Saron +2 Keepers (Two Lights in the Darkness)

Wasn't motivated enough to do +1 Keeper, I wiped for like an hour before I stopped. I'll probably give it more tries next week.

That kill is soooo clean it makes it look easy, but don't be mistaken, because Yogg is still by far the hardest boss featured on this channel. I enjoy doing Yogg, he's one of those bosses that are very interesting to solo mechanic-wise.

+2 Keepers isn't the true hardmode, but a bit closer to it. I'm leaving Mimiron and Thorim - the main difference without Mimiron will be getting more DPS to compensate for the reduced movement speed (which directly relates to uptime on Yogg's brain). Doing it without Thorim will probably be impossible until level 90, though, but as always I'm probably underestimating gear inflation.

What changes compared to +4 Keepers :
-20% damage dealt
+20% damage taken
-20% healing taken
No more sanity wells
No more saves from Hodir.
That means I have to be a lot more careful during p1 and p2, especially because of Grim Reprisal in the brain phase dealing a lot more damage. And of course, no Sanity Wells in p3 means I should never take Lunatic Gaze. (actually I take one tick at 2%, thought he would die from that last deathstrike, w/e)

Is that berserk timer telling the honest truth? Looking back at your +4 kill in t11 gear, he took a LOT longer to kill, and that was even with the buffs. I know about stat inflation, but it's still a giant leap.

@Aceedius It has a lot to do with gear inflation. Cleaning tentacles at the beginning of p3 takes me no more than 2 minutes now, and took me a lot longer back then (and I kept dieing as well), since I was clearly at the extreme limit of required gear. I'm definitely overgearing Yogg+2 Keepers :)

This has also a lot to do with Blood being played in Unholy Presence back then, which was slightly worse for that p3 scenario for tons of reasons I cba explaining :P
