I tried to make a more interesting video.

The live version of Daydream Nightmare Love with grace slick on vocals

I love the weird drum beat in the song except for the part where Jerry slick is just pounding the cymbals, I also love the guitar riff in the middle as well as the bass guitar

Arrangement;
Lead Guitar-Darby Slick
Bass Guitar-Peter Van Gelder
Recorder-Grace Slick
Vocals-Grace Slick
Drums-Jerry Slick

This is the best song david miner wrote for the great society (but I like You can't cry too)

(I Think some people think this songs name is watch me run so if your looking for that, this is it)

  • @Longshotsblues If you try and quantify singing, gauging when she's off-key or not and whatever, Grace may not even be a *good* singer. I don't claim to know that. You seem to believe that's what makes music good. I think that's sad. There's something in her voice that I relate to, so I don't care if she's not technically flawless. So, yea, Grace is a good singer.

  • @Longshotsblues I say her voice was perfect for the times...the 60's aint about being pretty or operatic......IT WAS ABOUT FUCKIN UP NIXON AND HIS ASSHOLE WAR!!...THE AIRPLANE did it right

  • @Longshotsblues i respect your opinion. mine is this: grace slick doesn't have the best voice, but i think she sounds better than janis joplin. i think janis joplin is the worst professional singer i've ever heard, even though i like some of her songs.

  • The other singers of my era of the 1960s I just didn't think Slick had much of a voice. The others actually had the Pipes. The are singers and then there are REAL singers. Slick was mediocre. Like male singers. Mark Farner, Ian Gillian, David Byron etc... These guys had some awesome voices and knew how to use their vocal chords. Some screech into the microphone and they call it singing. It's not. That's all I'm saying. Nothing to get angry about.

  • I always thought Gracie Slick's voice was horrid. The Airplane had a lot of great songs, and some fit her. But this woman was not a singer.

Now Patti Santos of It’s A Beautiful Day, Janis Joplin of Big Brother and as far as that goes Nancy Nevins of Sweetwater all could of blown Slick off the stage. Compared to these pipes Slick was a wanna be.

  • WHY DO WE ALL NEED TO GET OLDE...IT KIND OF SPOILS THINGS....BUT STILL EXTREMELY HAPPY ANYWAY......LOVE YOU

  • that`s amazing

  • memories of OLD FRISCO,when a few rented lavish victorians FOR NOTHING,nobody worked much,if ever, eat, smoke, party, screw, cry trippin knowing that THERE WOULD ALWAYS BE A NIXON,A WAR WE WERE JUST SUSPOSED TO GO TO,AND KILL,AND DIE,now i see how lucky we were,we told the reagans, repiglican liars, evil death military,SCREW YOU,WE WON'T PLAY THAT SHIT

  • Great video montage. The guitar certainly is good

  • yeah, well done vid and flute sounds really haunting ;) great tune!
