Yes Britain has been (in the past) interested in its empire but they have grown up. To blame Islamic violence on the British or Americans is to seek to avoid all responsibility. Have you ever heard of the Kurds? They now fight next to the Americans against the Iraqi insugency. These were the people that Saddam tried to kill off. Where are their Arab allies? Or what about the Afghans and the Brits and Americans fighting the Taliban? Where are their Arab friends now?

@MegaFraudbuster Are you sure. I thought that the British employed Sikh soldiers to put down any Muslim protests in India. Indians that I've spoken to have always said that Hindus and Muslims never got on even before the British arrived...Their religions are definately not compatable.
