@coolview66 Queen Juliana was a painfully shy person. The very thought of speaking, or even appearing in public, made her ill and It took a great deal of courage on her part to do so. It was this mixture of shyness and courage that made people love her so much.

Forgive me if it is offending...But somehow I find this lady the most clumsy and awkward royal ever..Not just in this video..right from her youth to wedding to old age all her pics and vids are so bad...

@kieran196 officially here titel well never used was HRH Princess Juliana the Queen mother. After she died she became HM Queen Juliana.

@Rexanify actually this speech was 4 years after abdication. The reason she abdicate was that with 70 she found it more and more difficult to do here work as Queen.
