I might have mentioned a few times in the past, that when I make these assemblages, it really is just a way for me to clear out my own memory banks and make way for new ideas, concepts and thoughts. In a sense these pieces are like a thought graveyard, where old connections and smells and tastes and basic visions go to die...or pass on...or (as I like to put it) move on.
After I finish a piece, I sit on it for a while and watch it many times. They really are such a personal memorial for me, and often times, I find myself disposing of them. Sometimes, I'll be inclined to show them to a friend, and if they react positively, I'll actually feel comfortable enough to upload them to YouTube, where they find their final resting place.
Most of the reaction I get from beautiful people such as yourselves are positive and affirmative. Sometimes they are critical, and sometimes I do get an occasional negative (just for the sake of being negative) comment. Most get by me because by the time I upload these, I am so satisfied and have moved off those thoughts that any form of negativity is completely lost on me. I usually delete really nasty stuff, but sometimes I like to leave them up because they really say more about the individual who wrote them than they do about myself. I've learned to never take anything personal on here, and find that when someone has a really good vocabulary, they like to strut it around and show it off. The problem is that most of these people lack wisdom, and it is here that I think the thread starts to lose their knot. I've come to see a trend though. People seem to love my thought process and when someone occasionally comes along who absolutely hates my work, they make it known, and it's usually the same. I'm a hipster, or pretentious, producing contrived work that is nothing close to 'art'. It's all so subjective to me that when someone tries to make the distinction between what art is and isn't, they immediately lose me as an intellectual counterpart to their view of the world. I love a good debate, but you can't debate someone who is convinced of something. I am not convinced of anything.
I like to play. I like to play with words, and poke fun at myself. Video art (most of it) IS usually contrived, and pretentious, and non-inclusive of what you might come close to understanding. It usually only makes sense to the creator. This is my experience, but bear in mind, I am not in any way convinced of this. This piece you are watching is for you; the viewer. You are in on the joke with me. Let's laugh. Let this be your thought process too, and travel the world that is in our own minds. Whatever this piece means to you IS the right answer. Whether it's garbage or brilliant is up to you.....they are your thoughts. I'll just whisper into your ears while you're dreaming tonight.
Love,

you should make propaganda, it will probably work better than what has been done in the past.

@maxoostweegel There's plenty of propaganda in my work. You know tomorrow at noon when I will have a certain part of your brain re-activate. Have fun!
