@SewellyTV i remember Newcastle-Aston Villa where you beat them 5-0 and Carroll made a hat trick (Nolan,Lovenkrands the other two goals i think) and your fans and all media were claiming that he was the new Alan Shearer.About Demba Ba everytime i've seen him play i find him average,good touch,good pace but not like the player media make to be.he aint world class,he has an ankle which could explode anytime and i doubt he'll develop into a great player.that's my opinion mate

Mate, I'm a Newcastle fan and I watched every game Carroll played up until his sale. Even at his very best he's not as good as Ba, and that's absolute honesty. If you'd had Ba this season you'd be sitting 3rd. If any striker in England could score them then why aren't they? The bloke is scoring goals with terrible service, he's brilliant.

Money thrown away? Well, you spent £35 million on Carroll and he's scored 2 league goals this season.

@stavrakaspaok What are you talking about? Only 4 of his goals have been headers, he's scored plenty with his left and right, from close and short range, even from set pieces. He's much better than Carroll. Better movement, better finisher, better technique, more mobile, better touch, links play better, more versatile. Just a much better striker in every department.
