  • Blah, blah, blah, blah. Jesus fucking christ. Christians really ARE boring.

  • Face it mate - the bible is a crock. It's only by virtue of geography that you are a christian and mindlessly reciting the bible. Had you been born in India you would likely be a Hindu, and hence doomed to hell as an unbeliever (accordin to Christanity) - not very fair huh?

  • Atheists: You may not agree with what he is saying, but do take note of his respectful tone. This man not only believes it, he lives it. Just because he's actually intelligent, soft spoken, and not an insult-hurling windbag like Hitchens or Dawkins, doesn't make him an idiot or "boring" as the fellow below me asserts. I found his letter to be interesting, interestED (which is important), and genuinely heartfelt. Contrast that with Dawkins' uninhibited propaganda spill. Win for this guy.

  • @CliveGoldCoast People do not go to Hell for never hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They go to Hell for theft, murder, rape, lying, blaspheming etc. Some sins are certainly worse than others and therefore a mass murdering rapist would receive a worse punishment in Hell than a chewing gum thief. Besides, the fact that some people have never heard the Gospel is the very reason why there are Christian missionaries.

  • The difference is that this "real" world is stupendously beautiful, and, for me at least, your pretend world is the hollow one. Belief in Jesus is as meaningful to me as beleif in Zeus is for you. I can be moral without your belief, so why believe? It seems like a fool's errand to me.

  • your just assuming that if you asked dawkins "but even if somthing that is not true has other value, is it worth keeping?" he would not immediately say no.

he DOES say no, and that truth is the most important thing in his eyes. Work out the meaning and comfort and "niceness" from there.

and you only think the world view dawkins puts forward as hollow because your blind to its beauty. after watching these vids i realise youve completely misunderstood the atheistic world view.

  • After listening to this intently, I am quite amazed for two reasons.

    1) The entire escape from reality thing is such a childish fantasy, the world does not change because you wish to believe in something else.

    2) He has proven his point, you cannot be argued with, your faith is your barrier, not matter what he believes or what you believe, you will believe your faith.

Please do not foist your god on anyone.

  • Are you comparing the atheists' world to that fictional underworld? Why? We also have the trees, grass, moon, stars, sky. We appreciate and are in awe of all these beautiful things. I too wouldn't want to live in a world without them either. The fictional 'Aslan', however, I can live without, and so can you.

  • 5 stars

  • another worthless video. if us athiests and people of other faiths, and remote tribes and eskimos who the crusades didnt reach are really going to burn in hell for eternity, it would be nice if you people who are 'in the know' could make better efforts to prove it. all i ever hear is 'believe it or else you are off to hell'.
