@TheMHandDSfan And listen to me. I don't even know why you are talknig about katanas. Why do people always have to bring up katanas in every sword video, even if it has nothing to do with them? katanas aren't a win-all weapon. People who try to say that, are simply being wapanese fools who are so easily fooled by cartoons, bias shows etc, designed to appeal to the audience... Don't be like them, and seriously, this video isn't about katanas. You don't have to bring it up like other fags.

@TheMHandDSfan No, I've seen the post middle ages era armour, and most of them if not all don't look like that. There were other such armours similar but different that were alsoe asy to use with gunpowder weapons. They do not ''basically'' look the same, and to say so is ignorant. And like as stated before, the armour was low quality, as long as the longsword, as it is obvious the longsword has more stabbing ability than a katana, yet it failed to stab.

@fusshia There are other videos. That armour was used as a post middle ages era. It was light easy to use with gunpowder weapons. Its also uses fasb forging and the Celtics forging methods. look it up. they look basicly the same.

@TheMHandDSfan Not true, I saw the video, and it was very biased. The armour used in that video was probably low quality, not to mention Europe never used that type of armour in their history.

@nivenheim the jian statement is true thought the katana can cut through( and stab through euro armor) if you want to see it look up european longsword vs. japanese katana on youtube, this was on the history channel i think so its probly not bs

@ihaterobbie123 yes a helmet must have been a pain in the ass in medeavil times, though i great axe(the long cresent bladed ones) could cut through plate armor,i saw this at the rennassance fair with my dad whos a european historian. He said it might of been a modernize axe though.
