Cops confess to shooting redlight camera, all charges dismissed against accused shooter: youtube watch?v=25wIadTDcXo

Got a speeding ticket last week for a car I traded in the day before the ticket was issued. Spent half a day trying to clear up something that should have taken 30 minutes! Then they tell me to get the ticket notarized!!! This should not cost me one penny to clear up!!
-
woops, sorry buddy!
-
Yes, I know that.
The point was that there are already quite a few police in the city, and there's no use for even more big brother style cameras and such.
-
But these guys arent cops, thats the whole point!

"They would not need to use these vans if people would follow the law. No sympathy from me "
There are like 5 billion cops in Lafayette, be quiet.

I find it ironic how everyone is so angry about this yet no one seems willing to take responsibility for the speeding. I also find it humerous that people are angry that Redflex is being paid to process the citation for the city. Did people think that processing citations is free? That people will work for free? For God's sakes people, take responsibility for your actions. They would not need to use these vans if people would follow the law. No sympathy from me

haha he outsmarted redflex :)

I agree with warnerb!

Remember, the money collected from RedFlex tickets are not going to improve roads and bridges. It's not being used to improve drainage, or put more teachers in our classrooms. It's being sent to RedFlex. You're money is being confiscated and lining the pockets of RedFlex executives, as well as local guys like Charlie Buckles.
You must not have watched your own video. The RedFlex employee said the response from residents in the neighborhood was positive and that they've begun noticing drivers slowing down.

Simply put, this van will slow the people who see it. I have watched people pass this van, never see it and have no idea they will be receiving a ticket in the mail.
We do not condone speeding in anyway and if you would have been paying attention then you would have noticed that said a time or two.

I wonder if KVOL employees have children who ride their bikes in the streets? I wonder how they feel about people speeding and endangering their children?

Speed Vans will not stop speeders ... they will take a photo of the offender and ticket them right before they run over your child.
