Ten Americans detained in Haiti for trying to take 33 children out of the country after the earthquake were charged with child kidnapping and criminal association on Thursday. (Feb. 4)

Whoa! Quit demonizing these Christians. Only God knows their hearts, yet you all have them convicted as guilty. What if it were YOU? Is this how you would like to have everyone demonize you if you were arrested in a foreign country and innocent? This is just so amazing. Israel was there to steal organs in this tragedy, yet you're focusing on Christian missionaries about which you know NOTHING. Shame on America for not protecting their own people or even thinking the best of their own!

after the catholic church i no longer trust religious people's intentions with children. they may have had good intentions, or they might not have had good intentions. we all thought the bishops had good intentions, and we were wrong. all i am saying is that they should look deeper into that church group who was trying to take the children.

why send missioniares there in the first place? to take advatage of them in a crisis, to MAKE them convet to christianity.

Haiti needs more internal orphanages for the orphans & schools to keep the children off the streets & be given meals so they don't go scavenging for food. Haiti needs expertise, equipment & other resources to increase productivity & people need to be motivated to start developing the agriculture base to help sustain themselves instead of importing everything. The govt needs to have make- shift govt buildings for now & take charge ensuring aid is reaching those who are suffering & country safe.

I wouldn't be surprised if this woman had a hidden agenda, but for sure she wanted to make money off of these kids. Which country would want to let their children go in the hands of foreigners, it beats me. A country needs to protect its own for they are the future, and all that money coming into Haiti should be spent on all kinds of schools & basic services, & show those people how to feed themselves instead of depending on handouts. The country needs expertise, not invaders and kidnappers.
