people are too cheap to spend 40,000 to buy a car. And chrome isn't EPA friendly, so they use that plastic shit.

If Fiat want's to sell here in the USA they need to increase the Amount of USA made components which from what I ave read is about 10%. Building it here would be nice too! It's built in Mexico.

The Fiat is a pretty good looking car, yet i don't like the fake chrome accessories... why don't motor companies use stainless/ or aluminum door handles and bumper accents. At least it wouldn't look so cheap and would also draw customers.

Test drove one of these a couple days ago (Sport with 5-speed). I was impressed, but the dealer charged over $2,000 MSRP. Do they really think I'm an idiot? lol
$20 grand with no leather or sunroof? Um, no.
But a sport w/5-speed for about $18k? That would be much better. I loved the interior, and it handled pretty well for the price.
I'll wait to see if it doesn't break down.

.the workers at crysler are going and with fiat its going to get worse! the robots finally are winning,so u guys better invest on the robotics industry,because all the big manufacturing plants going to use more and more robots ,and u kids out there u better study enginiering,electronics ,mechanics,hydraulics,chemistry,industrial and draftting design, machine repair,die and tooling,,because its where the good jobs going to be to make n repair the robots,.or you can came and work the farm with me.

This is part of the reason why Fiat is becoming so competitive in the world. If you want to compete against chinese labor rates you have to eliminate labor all together. The robots that are producing this car are made by Comau a Fiat owned company. They are absolute worldclass and will allow chrysler to remain in business even though without most of their labor force . Go check the MINI production Video and than you know why Fiat is selling better cars for less money.
